Peruvian Wholesale Pricing

updated 9/28/01
This page is SOLD OUT

Notes:

Megs are graded on a scale of 0 to 5.0.

GW stands for Great White.

Best quality are unbroken specimens and are sharp teeth for Mako's and are slightly worn for Great Whites (typical for Peru).

Second quality great whites are complete, but the serrations are nearly worn off.

Repaired teeth on this page have been broken and glued back together.

Damaged means the tooth has a minor break to the root or blade.

All prices below are at wholesale levels with the exception of the megs.   All lots available to everyone.

It will be impossible for me to image all of these teeth, but all of these teeth will be shipped prior to customer payment, and I will cover return UPS or USPS shipping for all customers who decide to not keep this material.

The three megs below are not restored with putty or paint although they do look suspect to me based on just looking at the images.  The first specimen has matrix on it that the collector used emery paper to grind down.  I will remove this entirely with air abrasion if the buyer request.  Please discuss with me these 3 teeth. I can give a better verbal description.  I am glad to mail these teeth out for previewing.

A note about this material.  All of this material was obtained in three separate lots during the last 8 months.  I am just getting around to selling it.  Just because so much of this material just sold on the website, do not expect more material to be in before Christmas.  Peruvian shark teeth are much rarer than Chilean and in my opinion, Aurora material.  This is based on the fact that I went to Peru and collected there myself, and in my honest opinion, there is likely less teeth coming from this entire country than from the single PCS Phosphate mine of Aurora NC.

I plan to stay commited to selling this type of material "wholesale".  Thank you to the wholesale buyers that have just placed orders!  I will have more foreign wholesale material coming from other destinations in the next month.  Make sure to stock up for Christmas dealing!  ...Joe.
